At Co.Designstudio, we had the pleasure of collaborating with Sovino Group to reimagine the iconic Café Sommersko. The ambition was clear: to recreate the unpretentious atmosphere and artistic spirit of the original Sommersko – not by copying it, but by creating a place that feels new while remaining true to its legacy.

The result is a vibrant, artistic and welcoming destination that continues the Sommersko tradition of bringing people together across generations.
Working on this project was an inspiring process in which we constantly balanced spontaneity with intentional design, creating a space that celebrates the past while embracing the present.
The space has been designed to create a dynamic experience with two distinct moods. At the front, the atmosphere is lively and informal, echoing the charm of classic French cafés, where the sound of coffee machines and a subtle background hum create a relaxed and vibrant setting.
Further inside, the mood shifts into a more intimate and sophisticated environment, with elegant sofas, soft lighting and an inviting character that makes it the perfect backdrop for cocktails and close conversations.
